Landmand Golf Club
Tad & I are extremely excited about the opportunity we’ve been given by the Andersen Family on an extraordinary piece of ground near Homer, NE. We will be starting a new 18 hole project here, which will be known as Landmand Golf Club (Danish for “Farmer”), in early September of 2019.
Inness, Accord, New York
More information on the course plan, plus site maps and images, will come with a more formal unveiling. But if you stand up above the 4th tee, the highest point of land on site, you can squint across the property and convince yourself you’re at Sweetens.
Red Feather
Red Feather will be a new eighteen hole golf course in Lubbock, TX. The attached plan shows the routing and includes descriptions of each hole. Construction will begin in 2021.
Brazen Head
At Walker’s Drive-In, the center of the local restaurant universe in Jackson, Mississippi, Tad King is quietly holding court. He has come here to meet a small group of local enthusiasts chasing a dream: the rebirth of a now-defunct country club golf course, and an opportunity to revitalize Jackson’s lackluster public golf scene.
Overton Park
Collins’ attention is presently centered on his home state and a project near and a project that means more than most: a redesign of Overton Park Golf Course, a municipal nine-holer in Memphis. This is Collins’ first muni — and, like every one of his designs, this one’s bound to look, feel and play a little bit different.
The Miracle
King-Collins transformed an abandoned 4.5 acre golf hole at Sea Palms Resort in St. Simons, GA into a practice area that challenges every aspect of one's game. These photos detail the process from our initial site visit to the Grand Opening.
Signal Mountain
In 2013 we were selected by Signal Mountain Golf & Country Club to renovate their third and seventeenth holes. I first played golf on the course as a child and have since completed countless rounds there. As a result, I am very fond of the layout and believe that it is a unique and special course with tremendous potential.
